SERVICES

Air Conditioning (AC) Service

Is the air coming out of your car’s AC vents warm?

We can diagnose your AC system’s problem(s). When your AC is warm, it means your freon is low and has leaked out. We will repair any compromised components and refill your system. AC maintenance is more important than most people think.  We recommend regularly replacing old freon with new.

All-Wheel Alignment

Is your car pulling to the side?

Four wheel alignments are important for tire wear, especially after new tires are installed. Wheel alignment improves handling and decreases tire wear, prolonging the life of your tire which saves you money in the long run. Our alignment computer is up-to-date on the latest vehicle models. Mike Cox, one of our service technicians, specializes in wheel alignments. In addition to his knowledge of the computer software, his rich experience enables him to provide optimal service to our customers.  At Auto Würks, we also perform alignments on vehicles with altered or aftermarket suspension upgrades.

Auto-Electric Repair

Is your car not starting? Does your vehicle need a new battery? Does your car’s engine need a tune up?

We offer tune up service to replace spark plugs, ignition coils, wires, and filters (air, cabin, and fuel). We will replace your old or broken starter or alternator. In some cases, we can rebuild your starter or alternator for cost effectiveness. We also offer ignition repair services. It’s our promise to use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or better electrical system replacement parts.

Brake System Services

Are your brakes squealing or grinding?  Do you feel a vibration in your steering wheel while driving? Haven’t changed your brake fluid since 1993?

Protect your expensive ABS and ensure the longevity of your car’s brake system and brake components. We find that when people (and some shops) service a car’s brake system, they fail to flush the brake fluid. We recommend regular brake flushes to maintain your vehicle’s braking system. Every time we replace pads and rotors, we drain and fill the brake lines with clean, brand new fluid. It’s our promise to use OEM quality or better brake pads and rotors with each change.  And here’s a tip: For European cars, flush your brake fluid every two years. Additionally, we recommend investing in quality parts as aftermarket brake components may lead to premature brake failure or vibrations.

Carbon Cleaning Services

Is your car’s engine misfiring?  Is your car low on power? Is there little to no “go” when you step on the gas pedal?

We offer fuel injection system service. Whether your vehicle has a direct or an indirect fuel injection system, we are trained and experienced to diagnose and provide solutions for these systems. Some engines require intake carbon cleaning.  We will clean the valves to avoid engine misfires, increase horsepower, and lower emissions.  This is especially needed with direct injection engines.  Fuel bypasses those valves and doesn’t spray on them to keep them clean. Over time, carbon builds up and creates problems.

Clutch & Flywheel Replacement

Is your clutch slipping? Do you smell something burnt?  Is there a vibration when pressing your clutch pedal?

We offer clutch and flywheel replacement. If your clutch or flywheel is worn or broken, we will replace it. It’s our promise to use OEM quality or better clutches and flywheels every time we service a vehicle.

Cooling System Service

Is your car overheating?  Does your car have no heat?  Is your coolant system clogged?

We offer a cooling system flush with new fluid. We won’t use old, recycled fluid. For some makes, we use the required OEM specific coolant.

Dealer-Alternative Repairs

Would you like a more personal relationship with your service technician? Are you tired of paying dealer rates for service?

Even while your vehicle is under manufacturer warranty, services like changing tires or  brakes aren’t covered by the dealership and customers can end up paying out of pocket. Auto Würks is a dealership alternative shop, meaning we provide service to warrantied vehicles without voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting (Check Engine Light Diagnosis)

Do you have a check engine light? Is there a light on your dashboard that you don’t know what it means?

We spend lots of money every year to keep up-to-date with the latest software to make the diagnosing your car easy and accurate. Bring in your vehicle and we will diagnose your running issue.

Exhaust Repair and Replacement

Is your exhaust rattling or rusty? Do you need a new muffler?

We can service your exhaust system for you. We’re equipped to install parts or an entirely new system.

Headlamp Restoration

Are your headlamps cloudy or hazy?   Is it hard to see at night?

Our skilled technicians have the tools and experience to clean and buff your headlamps for maximum clarity.  In severe cases, replacing your headlamps may be required.

Light Bulb Replacement

Did your headlight go out?  Brake lights not lighting up?

We will replace any and all lights and save you the hassle of reaching in and replacing them yourself.  In some cases, it’s necessary to remove the bumper to access and change lightbulbs. If there are electrical problems, we’ll diagnose and make repairs in those cases as well.

Oil-Changes services

Is your oil light coming on? Time for a routine oil-change?

We offer oil changes along with a free 20+ point service inspection. We do a 20+ courtesy check point with all oil changes using the highest quality oil filters and correct synthetics.  We do conventional, but most newer cars require synthetic oil. Using the correct and high quality oil, can reduce oil consumption.  Here’s a tip: Mann filters are highest quality for the German cars. Also, because of the extreme heat that oil in turbo engines reach, high quality filters are critical.

Performance Upgrade Installation

Want a new suspension? Would you like a new engine tuning?

We do coilover suspension and lowering spring installations. We will also install a custom exhaust or tint your vehicle’s windows. Interested in something else? We’re car enthusiasts. Ask us about your desired performance upgrade!

Pre-Purchase Inspections

Are you buying a new or used car? Are you looking to replace your car? Do you want to be confident in your purchase?

We will give your prospective ride a thorough inspection for any issues, upcoming maintenance items, or repairs needed.  We’ll give you a detailed report of the condition of the vehicle you’re looking to purchase.  Let us look over your potential future car to reduce the stress and remove the uncertainty of buying a used vehicle.  Our customers ask us for this service to prevent any unwanted or potentially expensive repairs or surprises. For example, a loose suspension or timing belt in poor condition undetected can end up costing you $1000.

Scheduled Maintenance

Is your maintenance light on?

We follow the factory scheduled maintenance for vehicles whether you’re due for a 20k, 50k, or 100k mile service.

Steering System Repair

Is your steering loose? Does it not handle like it used to?

We check the steering system for any looseness or worn parts.  We will replace your tie rod ends and replace any loose or worn components.

Suspension Installation

Are you upgrading your suspension? Does your car not handle or ride like it used? Do you need new shocks and struts?

We offer replacement of factory suspensions (springs and shocks) or upgraded coilover suspensions.

Timing Belt and Chain Replacement

Is your timing belt due for service?

Generally, every 100,000 miles, your vehicle’s timing belt is due for an inspection. For some cars, the interval may be longer (E.g. Hondas can wait for 120k or 130k before needing timing belt inspection or service). Timing belts are critical to be replaced at the recommended interval.  To neglect servicing your timing belt may lead to costly engine repairs. We use OEM quality or better timing belt chain guides and tensioners. There are many available aftermarket timing belt kits and water pumps that might not last the life of the factory determined interval (i.e. before they reach the standard 50,000 mile interval, they fail). We recommend investing in quality parts especially as it will likely save you the cost of additional repair or installation service.

Tire Balancing

Do you feel a vibration while driving? Is your steering wheel shaking?

We balance all tires with a Hunter Road Force balancing, which is a method to ensure a smoother ride for all tires.  We can do run flats (temporary tires made to run without air).  This will ensure a smoother ride for all tires, especially low-profile tires which are more difficult to balance.

Tire Changing

Are your vehicle’s tires worn out?  Do you have a flat or leaky tire? Do you need to replace a run flat?

Do you have low-profile wheels or are concerned with a shop marking up your expensive alloys? We offer the best tire changing available on the market.  We guarantee to not damage your wheels.  We can guarantee to change your low profile tiles, high performance or aftermarket wheels without damaging them. We use the Hunter Revolution, best in the industry, fully-automatic tire changer designed to change all wheel types without damaging, scratching, scraping, or marking up wheel lips, or surfaces.
